Can I catch a falling knife?

 

There is a saying in trading: 'don't try and catch a falling knife'! With trend-trading I agree that this is mostly true. But sometimes, set-ups look too good to ignore. This seems to possibly be the case with 2-yr US T-bonds. They have been falling exponentially in price. I think that there are three good reasons why the price might reverse.
