Is bitcoin an asset class?

Everyone is talking about Bitcoin! Is this a sign that it is an investment bubble (that is bursting)? Or is it an asset class that I should take seriously? I was talking with someone at work who had an experience with bitcoin: it took ages to sell it!

There are lots of reasons why I would hesitate to be invested in bitcoin, but in this weeks video I have a look at whether or not my charts would tell me if I should be invested in bitcoin, or stay in cash:
