Risk reduction = stress reduction

Yesterday, while I was at work, I got a text from my spreadbetting provider. It was an alert that one of my positions had moved into profit by 100 points. I had set an alert on the position when  opened it, so that when this happened, I would be informed, by text,, and could move my stop-loss position closer towards a 'no-loss' position. There is still 'risk' with my open position, because if the trade moved against me, I would still take a loss, but now 100 points less of a loss than before I was able to move the stop-loss order. Consequently my financial exposure has diminished, and my 'stress' has diminished accordingly. It took me about 30 seconds to do that on my smart-phone. That was all the 'trading' that I did yesterday. It was enough.
